Dabney Promise Scholarship

The Dabney Promise Program is open to DSLCC students; high school, continuing, non-traditional and nursing.  The Dabney Promise Program is a need based scholarship that helps to remove the financial barriers of attending DSLCC. In addition, the Dabney Promise helps pay for the cost of books. Acceptance into the program is based on the level of need and current available funding. Students are required to maintain a minimum 2.25 GPA, be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours (with a maximum of 15 credit hours) per semester, complete 4 hours of community service per semester, complete an SDV class within the first semester of enrollment and be a resident of the College’s service area.  In order to be considered for the Dabney Promise Program, the student must have completed the FAFSA and submitted any additional requested information to the Financial Aid Office before the scholarship deadline.
